Opening
eyes is a common need for many photos. We usually do this by using
two photos: the photo with the eyes closed, and a second similar
photo with the eyes opened. When
the two photos are from the same photo session, it is very easy
and inexpensive to replace the closed eyes with the open eyes.
The cost can be as little as a minor touchup of $5-10. However,
when the second photo is from a different photo session, it can
be much more difficult to replace the eyes. When choosing a second
photo to use, look for similar lighting and face-angle. Sometimes
a second photo is not available. In that case, the eyes can be
"painted" in.
